help! curious about identifying this bass

    I stumbled upon a guy who sells old, weird, sometimes ugly vintage instruments. Well i found this in his collection:

    looks like some freak BB to me, anyone out here have a clue what it is and what it's worth?

    Looks like it was modded for that neck pickup. I don't recall ever seeing a stock BB like that.

    Any chance he'd let you look under the pickguard? That would clear up whether it's stock or modded. It's a rather sharp looking bass to my eye.

    Looks like a BB 350 with a pickbguard... shrug.gif
