help finding a metronome

    can anyone help suggest to me a decent metronome that doesn't cost much

    Sabine makes a pretty cheap one that is very simple and easy to use. I like mine a lot. Sometimes I wish it had a volume knob, but you won't find a volume knob on a mechanical metronome anyway, so I don't think it is neccessary.
  3. you can download them for free at the download.com or whatever it's called... You can change speed, time sig and even sound on some (And, you have volume controls) ... If it's going to be near your computer... why buy one?!

    If not, Ebay a cheap drum machine! Better, IMO. You get used to playin to the drums then.
