help flats!!

    what flats have the most tension?
    i like 45-105

    I think Rotosound 77s are reported to have the most tension. I'm currently using some Ernie Ball Group II flats (.050-.105) and they have quite a bit of tension to them, and they are pretty inexpensive as well.

    LaBella Deep Talkin' Flats, D'addario Chromes, and Fender 9050s are some other high-tension options.

    Labella Jamersons are the highest tension strings for elec bass that I've used.

    GHS are pretty heavy too.
     
  5. Jamersons are quite high
    and will likely require adjustments in your truss rod and maybe other stuff.

    most tension I would say the jamersons.. but i'll never dare to use one of them... I'm currently looking after GHS Precision flats 45-105
