Hi guys, so I acquired a killin' vintage MVP recently and it came strung with these mystery strings. They feel/sound really great, but are light guage. I'd like to order my typical 45-105 set to see how I really like them. Any of you guys know these strings? Super smooth and very flexible.... image.jpg Silvery/ light blue thread at the headstock, threadless and nontapered at the bridge. Any thoughts?

They look like Sadowsky Black Label nickels. One of my favorite strings.

I thought they might be Sads, so I ordered some blue label Nicks from BassStringsOnline... They arrived today, but have a dark blue thread.... The blacks have silver/light blue?

The black label has the silver thread. They're slightly stiffer and a bit more brighter and aggressive sounding. The blues have thicker sounding low mids. They're both good strings, but I switched to the blacks because I felt like cut through the mix a little better.

Thanks for the insight. I def prefer to cut through, so I'll order a set of the black labels. Cheers.
