I am looking to buy this Kustom 2X15 cab but I would like to know some more information about it first. The seller doesn't seem to know much about it so I figured I'd post a picture and see if any of you can help.

    You mean "custom" cab?

No. The seller said it is a Kustom (the brand) but it doesn't have any more information on it like Ohms or Watts. and that is what I want to know.
  4. Wow - that looks a lot like a Kustom 2x15 like I played through for a little while in the late '70s. Can't help you with the specs, but let's just say yours is in a lot better shape than mine ended up!

    Early 80's, late 70's.
Kustom Shed its tuck and roll covering during this time...

    MOST likely around 2-300 watts,
    and Likely 4 ohms.
    Hope that helps.

I think it is the cab that came with the Kustom III Bass head in the mid 70's from the research I have done.

I bought a pair of those from the local Kustom dealer new in 75. They were offered with the Kustom lll which I think was 130 watts rms. I used them with a Sunn Coliseum and they sounded great! Kasino (also a Kustom product) had the same cabinet with more blue in the grill cloth. I do not know what brand speakers were in them because I NEVER had any problems.
  9. would this be the head that goes with it then?

I do believe that is correct.
Speakers are likely CTS or Cheap Eminence, but its hard to say.
Could just as easily be the in house "Kustom" Speakers.
Like i said, going of what most 2x15's of the day were, that bad boy should run at 4 ohms, and do 200-300 watts.
I'm sure it was intended to be used as a pair with that Kustom III head.
