Milestone bxp but what is the 78 or the signature.....I haven't seen any like this
That may be a Rudy Sarzo signature bass. His signature is all over the place though, fairly legible on his Washburn and Cirrus models, just a scribble on posters, and everything in between.
Cool I will check it out
I'm pretty sure that is Hartley Peavey's signature and it is on a ton of peavey guitars and basses. That's a milestone BXP (the BXP indicates it is an import). They are not particularly expensive on the used market but they were pretty well made generally. They're light with narrow nut widths and pretty comfortable necks.
That's Fred Goozen's sig - member of the sixties band "The Skeddlers". Didn't get a lot of attention but their big single "Song for Mom" made some waves on the local scene before being banned for it's suggestive chord changes. Sadly Fred passed away about 15 years ago from complications from his chronic acne. Peavey picked up on his short-term glory and issued a tribute version of his bass. Pretty rare instrument, but doesn't command a lot of value in the collector market.
On closer look, it's not Fred's signature at all. Looks nothing like it. Never mind.
