I just got in a Hagstrom Bass with great strings but I have no idea what they are.

They are round wounds but at the taper end they are wrapped with a single wire in a coil pattern. As opossed to a cloth wrap on the taper end.

Any idea what these may be?

If you're saying that the "top" end, up at the tuning machines, has just one wrap wire going around the core, and you can see the core between the wraps, they're probably Everly or Warwick. If they're stainless, they're most likely Warwick. If they're nickel or Alloy 52, they're probably Everlys.

Yeah, my guess would be Everly strings. I know that Ibanez was shipping some of their basses with strings like this, but I'm not sure who the manufacturer was.

So, again, the Everly Rockers would be my guess.
