    Hey guys,
So a local shop has s bass I'm contemplating purchasing (haggling for it most like since I suspect the $750 they're asking for is a bit high) but they seem to have very little info on it. The only identifying mark is a very small ESP stamp on the brass neck plate. There are no serial numbers of any kind. It plays and sounds great but has been sitting in the shop since August mostly do to lack of info and what they're asking price wise.

I've looked up the ESP Navigator info I could track down here but it's had very little specifics. I suspect from older photos that I've seen that this is in fact the original neck (though they seem to think it isn't). Any more details on this bass specifically you guys might be able to help out with (body wood, age, if it's the original neck, what I should offer cash wise, etc)?

    All the info they've provided-

    ESP Navigator VINTAGE!!!

    P-Bass Style

    Replaced Neck

    Burst Finish

    Grover Tuning Machines

I can't see how this thing is worth more than $150.

I sorta agree. I'd be willing to pay more than that since it's got a great sound and the action is good but $750 seems like highway robbery. I was thinking $400-$500 max.
