I've had this bass for four years now, I bought it used. Other than it's a Yamaha, I don't know anything else about it. Does anybody know what model this is?

Pretty sure it's a rbx series. I have a 5 string p-j (rbx5) with the same exact body style, controls, cavity plate, headstock cut, etc. These sold in the early 90's for 600 - 850. I love the neck on mine, that's why it's managed to stick with me for so long b/c string spacing is extremely tight for a 5 (14mm). Not much of a collectable, but if it's a good player, hang onto it. I'm afraid if I ever let go of mine I'd regret it b/c there aren't overly common to see. It's probablly made in korea like mine. I had mine looked up thinking about trading it and both gc and sam's told me it was worth 200. I said you're crazy, I love the neck too much to sell out for that.
