    Hi,

Can anyone tell me anything about a Christopher DB501F double bass? The info I've seen on it says it should be a carved flatback, but this bass has an arched back. The finish also doesn't look as nice as the pics I've seen on the web of DB501s and I was told by the seller that it is a plywood bass. Yet the inside of my bass says it is a Christopher DB501F made in the year 2000. Any help determining if this is a carved or ply bass would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Does Christopher have a web site? I've been unable to find it if they do.
