  3. It is a Fender amplifier.

Plug a Fender in and it will amplify it.

  6. Quit thinking ! A 'reasonable offer' would be for them to give YOU $300 bucks to haul it off to a hazardous waste site. I'd leave a 'Narcotics Anonymous' phone number with them, they'll thank you one day.

Better, I think, to light the blue touchpaper...

  8. 1000 watt speaker.

  9. With only 80 watts I'd be worried about underpowering that speaker.

  11. The consensus here seems to be that it would not be an advantageous purchase.

You did observe that it's not even a Fender amp, didn't you? IMO, this amp isn't even worth the $100 or so it might have been worth if it was in good shape. Don't pull this particular trigger...you ought to be able to get a whole lot more amp for $300, even in the PNW. Happy hunting.

  17. I saw that posting yesterday, and when I saw the title of this thread I thought it might be the same thing.

There's so much to unpack from that, but maybe just burn the suitcase.

'twas a Peavey TKO combo with no grill cloth and a rather idiosyncratic car audio speaker - one of the ones with a highly shaped cone.
