Help me buy a dream stack PT2!?

I've pretty much decided on an ampeg 8x10 with an epifani 212 as backup for lighter gigs or more HiFi when needed.

Now I need a head!

I love the sound of an svt, but also like hifi sounds as well, so I'm looking for warm but tight. I've played a ton of amps but I want something special here. I rarely use my tweeters above barely on, and I like to have a lot of mid control. I used markbass for years but felt they were too sterile. Honestly, if I had the money I would throw down for a heritage svt!

Contenders:
Eden wt800
Ampeg svt7pro
Aguilar???
Genz benz shuttle 12 if I can find one.

Has to be known for its reliability.

If you had $1200 to spend on an amp, what would you get?

8x10 beams mids and lasers highs up the middle, nothing but woof to the sides. Choose again.

If you can't diy cabs I suggest spending more on your cabs and less on amp. Power amps are so cheap these days. Go modular stacking rig and a nice preamp and pedal or three. That gives you same tone from both small and big rig. Season with pedals.

8x10 and Epifany cabs might not be very much cheaper than modular boutique anyway.

I agree with the woof comment. In the last 5 years I've had a mesa combo, 3 markbass combos, an ampeg half stack, my current epifani, a tc electronic RH modular rig and a peavey half stack.
At the end of the day I got a good sound out of all of these, some more than others. I can count the times on one hand that I've played a date when the venue provides a back line, and 4/5 times it was an 8x10. Took a bit longer than to eq right, but being able to lean back into that cab and feel the edge of your note, or wander around stage and still get some mids beamed at you...man. I love me some modular rigs but that last time I played an 8x10 was 6 months ago and it is hands down the best onstage time over ever had...the head was a svt 4pro BTW.
