I want something that is visually stunning but at the same time really classy and pro..and when people see it they go ,yea thats a quality bass :)

Ive got pictures frm the Sadowsky Site because there arnt Many GB pictures about and the bass will be similar to a Sadowsky..but thinner body and different pups, and neck dimension and stuff....i prefer them to Sads in everyway...

if your GB gets a matching headstock, then the trans purple burst all the way!

  3. They are all beautiful, but I like the blue most. Truly stunning, but in a cool and subdued way. Others are perhaps a bit too "in-your-face" for my tastes.

  4. :)

Ive always loved the trans purple and the Red Tiger Stripe.....the blue is really nice but i think i'd havea blue burst :) cause they look sweet....

you can see a pic of GB's blue burst in this pic

I have never cared much for orange or brown. So, I would go with red, purple, or blue. It's definitely one of the nicer shades of purple I've seen. Then again, I think I'm drooling most over the blueburst!

Man! Tough choice! Of the tints that you displayed, I like the Cherry Burst. But I really prefer solid tints. A good quilt takes on multiple shades of a solid tint. Check out the my natural exhibition quilt Roscoe.

  10. #2 Cherryburst, but get a rosewood board. ;)

    Just my $.02

    Definately the caramel burst!

Now there's a timeless classy instrument!
I feel the blue and red ones look great, but who knows in a few years they may be totally out of style, wheras the caramel or the nr 2 (forgot the name) are classy, and I can't see them going out of style.

All comes down to what kind of music your into also.
For me, I do lot's of session work, so generally an instrument that works well both in a nightclub, and on stage in a tux with an 80 piece orchestra is important.
The caramel blends better in all aspects than the blue ones. Blue is too flashy for some applications.

Just my 2 cents...oh well, close to a dollar....
