Help me choose the right pickup. Please.

    Hello, I own a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar, and I'm getting really sick the weird unnatural un-p-bassy sounding pickups, I want to buy some good bright mid rangy sounding pickups, basically, I want my bass to sound as close as it can to Mike Dirnt's signature P bass, but without going broke, I don't have a job and I'm only 17. Halp meh.

    First, welcome.

    Second, what's your price range. I know you said you don't have a job but how are you gonna get the money to upgrade?

    My price range would go up to 100$ for pickups, and thanks.

    Hmmmm in that case, maybe the Fender Original P-Bass pickups might do the trick. Or the SPB-3 Quarter Pounders. IF you want Dirnt's tone, you need that custom '59 pickup in his signature bass, which is kind of hard to get separate unless you look on TB Classified.
