Help me decide on a bass!

I have about $2,000 of guitar center credit coming back to me in a few days when my fender American ultra 5 return is processed. I am looking to get a different 5 string jazz bass (or potentially PJ) and would love to know what you guys would get! I have a few in mind already posted below that I’d love some info/opinions about. I am looking to spend up to 2500 or so.

1. Nordy VJ5
My number one choice I am pretty set on. I LOVE the look and these are apparently pretty highly regarded. Older 2007 model thats made its rounds on the classifieds here.

2. Bottom Wave 70s deluxe

Harder to find info on, but it’s made by Fodera and has fodera aero pickups and pope preamp, but I’m confused because it seems like new ones go for 300,000 yen ( ≈2k usd) so this is 500$ more.

3. Warrior Bella 62

4. Sadowsky

5. Bacchus Woodline (passive)
I am wanting an active, but this seems pretty nice

What else am I missing? Here is a link to the filter for 5 string basses between 1,000 and 2,800

I love this game!

From your list, the Nordy would be my top pick.

From the rest, it's not a Jazz but I would be looking at this:
I definitely had my eye on that one! Not quite my color scheme with instruments (Even though its gorgeous) and looking specifically for a jazz in my quiver but thanks! Wish they had some Xotic jazzes or bassmods. Honestly I am so stoked on this Nordy though I just wanted to see what others would say. Im glad you liked the game I thought it would be fun for people to comment too lol

Sadowsky if you are a jazz fusion/jazz rock musician and Bacchus if you do a lot of slapping/poping.

And yes, the Japan made basses are among the best in the world at the moment.

Oh, and if you want the most versatile of all, Lakeland jazz active. In my area, people really can do EVERYTHING with such bass.

But I’m a big believer the guy behind the bass makes the most difference…………….

Bacchus basses are so ridiculously underrated.

If the Nordy has made the rounds in the TB classifieds and you can identify some of the members who’ve owned it I would write to them and ask what they liked/didn’t like about the bass.

Haha I did :D they’ve all said they loved it. Part of me wonders if they loved it so much why did so many people sell it? But then I remember we are all a bunch of gear acquisition addicts and have an insatiable desire for new other gear. I am going to sell my nicest and most expensive bass (a 1977 music man) even though it’s amazing
