If you add around $500 to your budget, I just picked up an Elrick NJS the other day and having played some of the other options on the list, I can safely say this bass is in a completely different league. Plenty of options on the official website. That said, you can't go wrong with any of your options.

Good options right there. Also, see if there's a used US Lakland in that price range. Very fine instruments, great necks.

The og hum canceling 2 band Sadowskys are pretty bland sounding instruments IMO. The "sits great in the mix" comment doesn't go far with me, because nobody I know can name an iconic bass tone birthed by a Sadowsky.. Sure the guy behind Beyoncé might play one, but would you rather be him or John Paul Jones or Jaco or Marcus Miller.

Nordy and Xotic get my vote based on personal experience. I've played 2 Warriors and would avoid. Others I don't know.

I don't have a Fender, but I'm about to build one from parts for my 40th. Single coil, passive, alder with maple/maple neck. Might as well go to the source if I'm trying to cop the tone I figure.

I would grab that yellow MIJ Bacchus right away then before it’s gone and have fun with it.
Really can’t go wrong with that one for both the quality and sound IMO.
