Help me out

    I need a bass under $500 that doesnt buzz or rattle. One that sounds really mettalic, like matt freemans.

    i'm sure u could find a used geddy lee sig for around 500 or you could get a MIM jazz

    Really metallic . . . like actual metal-on-metal sound? Could try a crappy Ibanez for that.

    Use a plectrum, a twenty five pack will cost you about 7 bucks.

    Fender Standard P-Bass. As close as you can get to Matt's sound for the price IMO. Just string it with stainless steel strings and use a pick.
