Right. So, I wasn't sure where to put this, so I've thrown it in here.
Anyways, I take music as a subject at school, and to pass this year, we have to complete a solo performance. It needs to be 2 songs of a reasonable difficulty, but importantly, the pieces must contrast. I've decided on Mayor of Simpleton by XTC as the first, and am struggling to think of a contrasting piece to play.
Any suggestions? (slap, tap or even a little fretless is fine)

Mayor of Simpleton is a great choice - One of my favorites to play...You are the only other person on here I have ever seen who said they play it.

Maybe something from Larry Graham like The Jam or Pow?
Maybe Stomp from the Brothers Johnson?

    "Darling Dear", the Jackson 5.

Most consider this or "What's goin on" to be Jamerson's masterpiece.
