I've had Justin Timberlake's CD for about a month, and I can't quit playing it. I give credit where credit is due. This CD is nice. My wife is sick of though.

  2. There's one song that gets mega radioplay here (Pacific Northwest). Can't think of the name of the song... they faked it on some Music Award show...

    It's got that undeniable groove.

Does the rest of the disc keep on grooving?

I understand ya here. Kind of like good, old school Michael Jackson, except maybe a little blacker and a tad bit more masculine.

  8. I think more credit should be given to Timbaland than Timberlake himself.

FWIW, "Cry Me a River" is an amazing song, IMO. Right up there with "Get Your Freak On" as one of the year's best singles--but wait! Timbaland produced that one, too!

You've got to give a lot of the credit to The Neptunes as well.

  10. That's right, they did do a lot of the production work.

Y'know, I wonder if Timbaland and the Neptunes ever hang out, or if they're bitter rivals. They really seem to be the Stax and Motown of hip-hop.

The Neptunes are great. I am a huge N.E.R.D. fan.

anyway, no matter how many times Justin Timberlake says his music is "new", its just refined Michael Jackson.
