www.beleveconcertseries.com There is a local concert series that opened up a slot. I was supposed to play this with a different band, but things didn't work out. My new band just got together really. We did some studio stuff, but we haven't arranged any gigs. You can hear one of the songs at the link below my sig. This would be a great opportunity to get rolling. I know you guys have come through in the clutch before in similar situations...I'm asking for your help. Please, please, please...submit our band to this contest. Vote for us at any of these links: www.lehigh.edu/wlvr/ www.wzzo.com/bybands/bybands.html www.muhlenberg.edu/cultural/wmuh/ Just vote for Bodhisattva!!! If we make the top 5, we'll need another vote. Help me TB!!!
Ah, yes. Meditate on that for a while!~!~!~!~! Although I'm not seeking to become an Enlightened One, I have put the Ethics perfection on the back-burner, in so far as it would prevent me from rallying votes. Actually, our leader (not spiritual, musical leader that is) has done a ton of traveling and has been deeply influenced by Buddhism. I don't think he is a Buddhist, but he is a good songwriter, singer, and musician. He used that as his stage name as a solo artist for a number of years. If it were up to me, we'd be called Goat Rodeo or something.
Done. John, let me know when the gig is. We're practically neighbors.. BTW, I am a Bodhisattva...until all the sands of the Ganges have been enlightened and every particle of dust.... d
It would be on 6 August 9pm in Bethlehem. I'll be sure to send an invite to everyone from TB if we do get in. So far guys, Bad_Habit_Bassist, Woodchuck, DonZ, NV43345, Groovecenter, Turock, MontyP, Jazz Ad, moley, XavierG, bassis_fiendus, reasonbass, Bryan R. Tyler, JMX, Nino-Brown, and anyone else who just voted and didn't comment...thanks for the help. We should be getting up there on the vote count. Those of you who are helping out, I'll do somehting to pay you back...as a true Bodhisattva whould!!!
