I would say about 8 or so months ago I came across a finishing service that had restored a forum members 1962 P bass. Maybe jazz bass, it has been a minute. (It was an early 60s Fender bass, that im sure of. I believe it was in a sonic blue.) If memory serves me correcrly the company was located in the pacific north west, washington or oregon maybe? I could be totally off on that. The company specialized in vintage Fender restores, but also offered finishing/aging services for new builds. I dont normally like the whole aging thing, but I remember these being of INCREDIBLE quality, not your run of the mill relic. The final product looked so authentic it was hard for me to believe it wasn’t actually 60 years old. It wasnt one of the more talked about finishers, like MJT, Rebel Relic, etc. Like I said it seemed like a lot of their work was restoring actual vintage instruments. If this rings a bell for anyone that would be so helpful. Im wringing my brain trying to remember the name but cant!
