Hi, I'm looking at possibly trading my DB for this guy's EBMM + cash. I think I could sell my bass for $850 - $1000. How much cash should I try to get?

Additionally I'd include a lot of accessories (as a package) along with the DB: stand, SKB bag, Fishman PU, extra bridge, bow (cheap), etc.

He values the EBMM at $750 in reportedly 'perfect' condition.

4 bangers have been fetching 8-850 in good condition, some even less for more "player" condition in the 7 -750 range...accessories are good if thats stuff the buyer wants, other wise theyre paying more for what is essentially crap to them. all the prices ive listed inclued hardcase. ebmm forum is a good place to see values of whats selling and whats not. also the classifieds here are great to judge.

personally i found a pretty beatdown SR5 at GC used they wanted 700 and wouldnt come down and i walked..tough market right now. Good Luck

Well to be fair I paid $1000 for my DB but the last offer I got on it was $850. I'm not sure I could do much better especially in this market.

I might be moving this winter, so I have a little motivation to sell the DB while I have a chance, and not have to move it.

then go $200 its all about bartering in a bad market. if he has what you want and you have what he wants its a win even if you make $100

If the MM is truly in "perfect condition" $650 is a good deal.

so the seller says it doesn't include the OHSC. It looks like those go for ~$150 new, so I could ask for another $150 there. Is there a used market for them?

Stingrays are going from $700-850 now. +1 on getting another $100-150 for the lack of hard shell case. It might even be a good trade without cash, it's really hard to sell equipment over $700 now.
