i am starting to look for a new bass setup. I play mostly metal, and i need something loud, and the price doesnot matter, please help me, no idea what i should be looking for
  2. never say price doesnt matter unless u have like $20000 or more to spend because some of these guys will have some crazy ideas u have to put a price limit on it unless u just won the lottery. also what kind of bass u are playing and what not.

If cost is no issue and weight is no issue, I am going to agree with Treena.

Get yourself the SVT-4Pro head and two PR-410HLF cabinets. You get 490 watts into each of the cabinets with the ability to drive a few more later. You can choose one or two cabinets depending on the venue (instead of lugging around 1 8x10 and needing a truck) Damn heavy though!

Good luck and wear a back brace.
