HELP! Mid-70s J-Bass color question!!

I met this cat in grad school back in 93 who had this totally cool-looking mid/late 70s J Bass with the funkiest color...it was a trans-greenish/bluish color that I haven't seen before....anyone here have a clue what it is? It's definitely a trans color...you could see grain through the color, but it was the bee's knees!
Help!! (I need an excuse to look for a Fender instead of order another Nordstrand... )
