Can anyone recommend a NYC shop that does good amp repairs. I have an old (1986) GK combo that I believe needs a new speaker and from what I understand, they can be a bit tricky to replace because of the way GK installs the speakers.

    Thanks!

What kind of combo is it? An older Microbass? If so, it's not HOW they put the speakers in, it's the size of it.

Thanks. It's an old RB-200 I believe. A 100 watt combo with a 12 inch speaker which akes up just about every nook of the enclosure.

Hmm, you can contact support@gallien.com for some insight on this, and take it to a shop listed above. I'd recommend emailing them first though.
