I got a problem, when I put them in this order the crying bass effect goes missing :bawl:
  8. I would go BBM>overdrive>Crying Bass>Pad. Wahs before dirt never makes any sense to me.

  12. just don't forget there are no hard rules, whatever works for you is the best order.

Placement of a wah for example is almost 100% subjective.

I too like the order you listed them.

fuzz before and OD after is my preference.
  13. Placing your wah BEFORE dirt gives the dirt pedals a much more natural sound IMO, as wahs sweep or notch a peak in the frequency response...and therefore vary distortion and fuzz intensity better than the other way around....putting a wah AFTER dirt pedals makes them sound way too synthy sounding for my taste

    YMMV...Whatever floats your boat!...

I'm not sure how that pad works, but as for the other effects id put

    Fuzz > Wah > OD

I like the synth sweeps you get with fuzz before wah, and I like the throaty growl swept into a quack you can get with the OD after the wah

I've never done much multiple dirt combinations before though.

I thought of something like that at the beginning but then I realised my Crying Bass only works as the last pedal in the chain (For reasons unknown, I don't know if there is something wrong with my pedal or if it is just the way it is supposed to work) :crying:
