Hi Guys, Im Allen from the Philippines, I would just want to seek for some help on building my Hartke Cabinet with 2x10 Lx8 speakers. Is there anyone who can help me out on this one? I was planning to build a Hartke 2.5xl Series clone cabinet, is there any special wirings or proper building techinc for this? Thanks ang Happy New Year, more gears to come and basses too. image.jpg image.jpg

Can simply clone the box and leave out the small speaker and its filter parts if you don't have those. They could be added later if you want. It's small enough to use a large hole saw to mod it later.

Rest is fairly straight forward. Options are 4 or 16 ohms when using 8ohm speakers. It is possible to wire in a switch to toggle between the 2 impedances.

PL premium glue is nice for these type of builds. Simple butt joints are fine and the glue will expand and fill in any gaps from not cutting perfectly straight and give you a well sealed box.

Don't know if that cab is partitioned inside. I kind of doubt it. I'd just put a stick of bracing from between the driver cutouts to the back wall.
