    Hi,
    I just came across an awesome bass. I've never seen the name before, nor could I find any info on it on the net.
    The name of it is:
    Wave Crest by Sound Board, Phelan, CA

    I even called the town of Phelan, but no one there knows the name of the company.

    It has a beautiful design... I'm trying to attach a pic from it... any help would be appreciated.

    Oops, the 3rd picture didn't work... I fixed the problem.... Please!!!! anybody has any idea????

    Thanks

  3. interesting- the headstock looks like an Ibanez Roadstar's.

    the body looks similar to an old Eko bass- the PFM thru-neck, which also had 2 J p/ups.

    maybe it's a "frankenstein" conglomeration of different parts made by a guitar shop.

    There are a jillion makes that have fallen by the wayside over the years, but I think Mock may have something there because the instrument, as a whole, seem very incongruous to me, such as;

    - The lack of a typical, identifying, decal or logo
    - The homemade appearance of the control plate with the generic, Gibson-style, guitar speed knob
    - The pitted body wood that looks like it needs filler
    - The Fender block-style fretboard

    It reminds me of something from Subway (fatdawg.com), like this -

    subrayj.
