A lot of people on here advise people to try before they buy. It sound like you could have benefitted from this advice before you bought your Bass.:bag:

Sorry I have never had a Yamaha so cant really help you out. You could try and find a Bass that doesnt dig into you and go for a trade or something. Sorry I cant be any more help.:meh:

    That sounds bad...

Try adjusting the height of the strap or the angle
    Relocating strap buttons?
As a last resort, there's carving the upper horn (I assume that is the offending part)
  4. Never heard of it before, horn isn't that bad but I only tried this bass once in a store but I had no issues.

Before we start offereing advice, maybe it'd be best to clarify is this sitting down or standing up? Is the horn digging in physically for a reason? If standing is the the strap forcing it?

Do you have a picture of your posture? That would be most helpful

I'd help, but since you just made a post about Victor Wooten dying (not true BTW), I'd rather keep it to myself. Grow up, dude, or mommy won't let you play with the computer during spring break anymore.
