Help please! Markbass Little Mark Tube 800 with old style Rumble 410. Is this safe?

    Pretty much says it all. Ohms and wattage confuse me to no end. Picked up the cab cheap and I just want to find out if I'll have any issues. Guys in the store weren't of much help! Thanks all!

    Most likely fine if an 8 ohm cab. The head is not 800 watts at 8 ohms load.

    Cab is 4 ohms. Says 500w continuous/1000w program. I really should understand this stuff, but I don't. Please excuse my ignorance in this matter. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    If you use distortion effects I would be concerned. You can hear speakers complain when you send them too much power, but really hard to tell if you add distortion to the signal before them. With a 4 ohm cab the "thermal" rating of the cab can be exceeded by 300 watts. Play with caution and avoid "volume" wars.
