help! price increase!

Discussion in 'Strings [BG]' started by soundoholic, Apr 21, 2003.

  1. I've been buying dr hi beams for a few years now from musiciansfriend because they were only 25$ a set and they last forever. They jacked the price up to 40$. Does anyone know a place where you can get them cheaper for a 5 string bass with a low b. I'm almost thinking of changing brands because of the price increase. Please help.

stringthis.com sells 4 string sets of DR Hi-Beams for $16.95 and 5 string sets for $25.95. He can get any type of DR strings that you want (I get Stainless Lo-Riders) for the same price.
