    Hey guys...

I was given a right-handed 1987 Yamaha RBX260, which I would like to convert to left-handed. Could I get some advice as to the best way to go about this? Links to a replacement nut, or can I just flip the exiting one...? ....slots wouldn't match up though right...? Any help is much appreciated. :bassist:

  2. Hmm... I think the nut would work if you turned it 180* ... Why wouldn't it? Then you could unscrew the strap pin on the horn and either reuse it or buy a new strap pin, then fix it to the smaller horn. Or you could attach a strap pin to both horns and have an ambidextrous bass, cause all you'd need to do is flip the nut and restring. Good luck!
