I'm having trouble with my new Quarter Pounders. The bridge pup works just fine. But I can't get the neck pup to work. Is there a special way that these get wired in? I thought you just wired them up like regular Jazz pups. :meh:

    Thanks!

Go to the Seymour Duncan website. They have a wiring diagram for a Jazz bass.

Hey, thanks. I already have the wiring diagram. I double checked it again the SD website and it's the same.

The neck pickup has 2 red and black wires. I tried reversing them and still no luck. I did the same with the bridge pup which has a black and a white wire and it works perfectly either way.

I'm worried I got a bum pickup. :bawl:

Captain do you have a multi-meter? You should check the leads with the meter and that would tell you if the pickup is D.O.A.

Wire it straight to the jack. If there's no sound - its dead...
