Hey guys I saw this ad on my local 'list, it's for what looks like an older model Trace Elliot 1110. Someone on a different forum showed me this link and it's the only specs I have seen. Does anybody know much about this amp? That site says it's 150 watts, but that seems incredibly under-powered for a 4x10, doesn't it?

Dunno if I would trust the info on that link. It says the amp has a "7 band graphic equalizer" :rollno:.

I once had an HV122 (2x10") TE combo from the same timeframe. It was 200 watts (and bloody loud), so I doubt the 4x10 would be lower power. Regardless, TE amps of any vintage are not known for being underpowered regardless of how many watts they are rated at - I think your bigger problem will be transporting that monster.

A guy i know here in Austin has one of those. It is a GREAT sounding amp. Just make sure it works. I would haggle in person with cash in hand. Hand him $300 and see what he says.
