Help with an active bass.

    Hi guys. I recently bought a Cort A4, is the first active bass I have since I started play the bass more than 6 years ago, I don't know how to Equalize the EQ, is a 3 band bartolini preamp and bartolini mk1 pickups, sounds good all the knops all the way up, but I don't know how to eq for another genres, this have pickup balancer, bass, mid, treble, active/passive switch and a master volume. I Know it's a very open question, but I move the EQ and I do it with out any knowledge a bout it. Please active players, help this active noob!

    Probably the easiest to do is Google active bass eq. This may give you a good understanding of what watch knob can accomplish. Also just listening to so ga you like, and try to match the tone on your bass guitar.
    I wish I had better advice, but maybe someone else will say something better

    Turn knobs till it sounds good to you, just like any EQ.
