help with first time p bass wiring setup

    i have a saga bass that was given to me (P-Bass) and the internal wiring for the jack,tone,and volume wires that are supposed to be connected to the pickups are gone so i ordered a Standard wiring kit for P Bass (http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/images/large/WKP-STD.jpg)

    and need to know how to solder the wires into the thing so the pickups work right and i dont go flying across the room from electrical shock :)

    Are there no wires coming from the pickup?

    yes there is wires attached to the pickups
     
  4. There is really no danger of that, so long as whatever you are plugging the bass into is in good working order.

    You're dealing with under a volt at a very low current.
    The worst thing that could happen if you miswired the bass would be that it would have no sound.
