Help With Footswitch Problems

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Stingray_EB, Sep 1, 2008.

  1. Hey guys just got back from practise and Im worried

I use a Big Block 750 with the standard footswitch for mute and overdrive. I noticed that whilst the overdrive function works fine, lights come on etc. The mute does not, no lights and no mute :(

What could this be ? Dodgy Footswitch or amp ? Its only 3 months old !

I have ruled out the cable as the overdrive works fine ?

    Any ideas ?
  2. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Im really quite worried about it being the amp.

It still could be the cord, since it carries more than one signal. Otherwise, time to take it in where you bought it.
  4. aww no ill give it a try wth another cable tommorow.
  5. Ok, So I go to test it out today and now it works fine ? I dont know if this is a good or bad thing ? Whats going on ?
  6. Ok figured it out, dodgy input on the Footswitch, Ill get it replaced.
