ravguitar_2266_71218140.gif I have a bass that I use as backup to my MM Stingray and Its a very good built and pretty bass but I hate the sound. It just seems as thought the sound is not clear and the tone is muffled especially when playing with the rest of our band at a higher volume. Would you recommend something to me as far as changing the pickuops or anything else that would make this bass good.

Below is what it currently has. I appreciate your help if you can on what I could do to make this bass sound good.

    PICK-UPS BY G+B BD-4 DOUBLE COIL X 2

    ACTIVE ELECTRONICS

    ACTIVE / PASSIVE BY-PASS SWITCH

    BRIDGE-BB05

VOLUME AND TONE : DUAL CONCENTRIC POTS

    PAN, BASS, MID, TREB

I'm sorry, I've seemed to have overlooked this posting.

If it were my bass I'd add a Aguilar OBP-3 or Mike Pope preamp and some Seymour Duncan dual coil pickups. I'd also a hipshot bridge. I'd use the switch for a single coil/dual coil configuration.

You can get pretty much any preamp to match your 'knob' layout.

    I'd a brass but too.
