Hello all. I use Mozilla thunderbird and I love it compared to Outlook express except for one thing. When I have a Thunderbird message open and I try to use the "previous <" or "next >" buttons to browse through my messages, it will only go to the < or > Read message. Is there any way to configure TB to browse thru Read and Un-read messages? I've looked on the Mozilla site and I couldn't find what I needed
Nino, I've never used those buttons so I was actually a bit surprised to hear that that's how they worked. I tested it and sure enough, that is what they do and I wish I had a solution for you. I checked through the Thunderbird config settings (using the about:config Extension) and didn't find anything I thought would do it. Also, I checked the Thunderbird Extensions page and didn't see anything. I'd hate to think you're out of luck - Thunderbird is such a great email client. Personally, if I'm not just using my mouse to select messages, I'm using a various combinations of the TAB button to switch between the active window sections then the up/down arrows to browse as necessary. That's all I've got for you, though. Hope you find something that works for you!
When you have a message open, 'N' will go to the next unread message, while 'F' will go to the next read message.
Probably because he's using custom icons/colors. I have TB in Windows and Linux, and the icons/colors look different from in that picture, but both versions look nearly identical, so I'd assume the Mac version is similar as well.
For anyone interested, I found an extension on Mozilla.org that will navigate through all messages instead of just unread ones. https://addons.mozilla.org/extensio...erbird&category=Miscellaneous&numpg=10&id=106
