I managed to get an AllParts Fender licensed neck - vintage tinted maple with maple board and black blocks with binding. It came with a black JP-90 body which is in a bad shape and all JP hardware and electronics. I got them dirt cheap ($145, shipped to Middle East).

I'm thinking of getting rid of this body and replacing it with something from Warmoth or USCG, but I can't seem to decide if I should go with some nice chunk of wood and a transparent or tinted finish, or go with a solid color. I already have a '75 Jazz which is natural ash with rosewood board and blocks.

What do you guys suggest? What would look the best? If you have pics of your fav, post them please. But..please..no black...I like black guitars, but I am really not into black basses. Thanks in advance.
