    Hi,
I'm having a heck of a time finding a new QSC stereo power amp that will fit into my Mesa/Boogie SUS rack(18" deep) with the recessed hardware. I want a QSC. I have an old QSC USA 850 with no handles that fits (my backup). I have a Mackie 1400 that does not. I was thinking about getting the QSC PLX 1602, but the "grab handles" look like they won't allow the recessed covers to fit in my rack.

I have about 2 inches of space between the rack rails and the recessed front cover. Are the QSC handles more then 2 inches deep? Do those handles come off? Any suggestions?
If the handles can be removed...then that's the answer...I'd be all set :)

    here's the rack in question..
I've added a pic of the smaller rack so you can see the inside and know what I'm talking about. Notice the inside rails and the recessed covers.

PLX 1602 rack ears extend just under 1.5" from the rack rails. You should be fine.
