    Hi
I have an Ampeg SVT-3 Pro and for now Im using an Ampeg BXT-115HL4.
This is a 4 ohm cab, and Im interested getting another cab.
Would one suggest to get another 4 ohm cab and wire them left and right, or getting two 8 ohm cabs and wiring them through eachother.

    Please help

if your amp wire for 4ohms on each output? if so, that would work, but probably limiti you to two cabs, unless you amp can go down to 2ohms on each output.

if your amp is mono (no separate volume control for left and right output) then you want to make sure your two cabs are VERY close to each other in OHMS, SENSITIVITY, AND SPEAKER SIZES, or else the more sensitive, lower ohm or larger driver cab may dominate the other. thats why separate (stereo) volume controls help.

so, choose another 4ohm cab cab similar to the one you have OR get two similar or identical 8ohm cabs. thats my suggestion.
