HELP!

    right! am on the brink of getting an AMAZING thrash metal sound but am stuck and i need help.

    right here are my amp and pick up settings just now.

    amp 'Laney R2'

    High input
    Gain - 6/10
    bass - up full
    freq - 150
    mid - 6/10
    treble 6/10
    presence 6/10

    Bass 'Epiphone Thunderbird'

    neck pickup 10/10
    bridge pick up 0/10
    pick up volume 10/10

    could any of you help me in tweaking my setup to geta better sound. Also what type of strings do u reccomend i use if i am playin Hard rock/Thrash metal.

    It's pretty impossible for us to tell you how to get a better sound since we don't know what you sound like NOW and we have no idea what result would come from just more gain, or more bass, or whatever.

    Second, roundwound strings. Rotosounds are good, I prefer DR's, myself, but bass tone in thrash metal means almost nothing. In the mix, you only hear the mids.
