    :help:

I have an American Deluxe Pbass and Im using TI Jazz flats on it. The problem is that when i play my fingers seem to hit the pickups. Is this cause of the low tension of the strings or is it my technique??

    Cheers

    Well...move your hand?

    Or lower the pickups.

If it's making a clicking noise, I put a piece of electrical tape over the pole pieces so it doesn't click (as loud) and it works fine.

    Hi

I have an American Standard Pbass and my fingers never hit the pickups. Thats why I was thinking that it was the strings to blame lol..

Lower your pickups, as Mark said. Wow, a nonfail Mark post!

    I only fail in OT.

I'm an epic win here. I'm a gear, technique and set up FREAK.

When it comes to general life questions? Not so much...

OH! plus I can ban you in THIS forum.
