    Lotsa of foam that stays put across your shoulder and holds the Bass darn near wherever you place it. They are kinda pricey, but well worth it.

    Second the strap, and you can switch out your tuners for Ultralights, although judging by your bass that might too costly (you could use the money towards a new bass instead).

    Duct tape a 25 pound weight to the body near the bridge. That'll stop it...

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
    I've found that the somewhat rough surface found on the underside of a leather strap holds the bass in place nicely. I can't even use a nylon strap anymore. YMMV.

    ever see those extensions that go one the upper horn of the bass?it screws into the straplock hole and looks like a silver pencil sticking out of the bass,then you put your strap on the horn extension and it changes the weight distrubution of the bass making the neck less heavy. does that make sense to you? its alot more simple than it sounds and its fairly cheap:bassist:
