Henry 8x8 or ampeg SVT-410HLF??

    Ok, here's the deal. I have an SVT3-pro, play a stingray5 fretless and i'm looking for a great cabinet that will produce a tight punchy low end. Also if i get the 8x8 will this cabinet fit in a VW jetta? What do you guys think would be the right fit for me?

    But on a serious note... They are both great cabinets. I prefir SWR though... a little tighter and punchier. You might look at a Goliath Sr. also (if it fits). It's kind of a middle ground between the two sounds. Even though the 8x8 has a better low end response, the 6x10 has a little more "boom" to it.

    Of course, what ever works best for you!

    Ampeg and SWR are quite different. You'd be best off trying them out yourself.

    i fit my 8x8 in the back of my civic. kinda tight thru the door, but it works. i would go with the swr. it will have a different sound than the ampeg though - you should try them both out if possible.
