    Just wanted to share a new build I've been working on, my fourth from scratch.

    Four string
    single cut
    34" scale
    fretless
    black Hipshot hardware
    Maple body
    flame Maple neck
    Claro Walnut top
    Jatoba fingerboard

    electronics undecided

    Looks good , wouldn't mind having those templates for myself .
    Wood selection is killer , can't wait to see the progress!

    Ok, so an update. I cleaned up the scarf joint and glued the neck together. Then I did the forearm cut, I'll be doing a layer of black .6mm veneer under the walnut top.

    The mail brought my Hipshot Ultralite tuners and A style bridge. I also got my DR Black Beauties, for now they're the strings I'll put on this bass.

    That neck wood is awesome! Is there a structural reason for the strip down the middle of the body? That's a neat touch either way.

    The strip in the body is more form than function, to match the neck.
