It's a Tokai bass. Check out the circular p/u's and the aluminium (correct spelling, BTW) body.
Cool PU. But that body shape...
Looks like a Stingray that got struck by a train..
By the light of day, it is a normal Stingray. By night, it becomes, ALUMINIUM MAN!!!!
I think it should be recycled.
WHo decided to put a coaster on that bass
Is there something about a seafood diet that causes this? Or is it too much sake and too many bad monster movies ???
Rick, I knew before I looked at the properties on that pic that it was an Atlansia. I don't know how(¿?), but I knew.
I love the way that thing looks! Granted it looks like a battle ax fused with the bastard son of a Musicman and a Warlock, but I think it looks cool, I wonder what it sounds like.
As long as it sounds good, the looks don't really matter. The Atlansia looks alright actually.
Wait! There's more!
Hey...that one's actually kinda cool. I'd play that.
Yeah I like that second one.
Has anyone played one of them?
From your historyt of posts in the Basses forum, Jeff, I'm pretty much convinced you are an idiot savant of bass details.
I think I could show you a pics of a Pastorius Tribute bass vs. the real deal and you could identify the impostor in seconds.
Idiot, maybe , but savant, I don't think so.
I know basses, but there are guys here with a lot more knowledge than me. But I will admit to being a gear junkie!
That is by far the best smiley ever....
Smiley? That's a picture of me!
that is a nice bass
I dunno. I'd like to try that Atlansia. I mean, just for the sheer fact that I've never played a toaster through an amp is pretty much the driving reason behind that, but hey, why not, right?
I'll take both of 'em!!! They're both
