here's an amusing little tidbit - myself and the 2 guitarists in my band singing acapella for a short break in one of our longer songs. this was fun to compose, too. it's not a big download, either - about 365 kb - so give it a shot.

    p.s. i'm the low voice :D

Just kidding. That's pretty cool. Did you use your 7 flap vocal cords? ;)

the low voice. it got mixed a bit quiet  my part is "behold a tapestry they extend from my reach desires are gossamer glimmered once and they were gone"

i did 3 tracks of my low one, and there are 4 tracks each of the other 2 parts, for a total of 11 tracks of vocals. we like queen :D

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great honor and privilege to introduce to you, the new members of The Vienna Boys Choir. Behold their debut in Atlanta Georgia, (pending the long awaited release of Lord Only's album, extended far from our reach).

    I liked it.

I don't know. With all those studio gizmo's that are residing in your house, I bet there is a vocal pitch shifter somewhere that could send you up two octaves, and then Pro Tools out the bottom end.;)

Actually, this is related, but not, but I just thought of it, so.....

There was a movie that came out a few years ago called "Farinelli"(sp?). It was the story of the last great Castrati singer. To get the voice, they had a female opera singer sing the parts, then a male singer do the same parts an octave lower. The took the male part and digitally raised it an octave, and then overlaid the two tracks. So you had the lightness of the female voice, and the depth of the male voice singing the same music. I thought it sounded pretty cool.
