let's have a recording of you saying your real name. :) a few of our icelandic posters have done this in the past, and it was pretty cool, imo.

    so, let's hear 'em :D

  2. Would love to, but I have no way of recording my name.

But give it your best shot, "Gunnar Þór". The Þ is like th. :D

A lot of people don't know how to properly pronounce my name. This should clear things up.

Well..most foreigners (hey, that's my name in English!) think it's pretty cold here when we are VERY hot!

Hey How about Lead Fuquazi pronounce HIS name....or would that ruin the fantasy :D

  12. dude, you've got a Sean-Connery-with-cocoa-puffs-in-his-mouth thing going on there...I wish I knew a foreign language...they always sound cool...stupid English...

  13. that reminds me...I found out last year that I've been saying my last name incorrectly my entire life. I met an actual Czechoslovakian (i'm only 25%) and apparently "Zvonek" is pronounced with more of a long 'o', where I've been using a short 'o.'

    Stupid Americans... :bawl:

The french 'R' sound is unreachable for most americans, even when they try really hard. :)

I don't have any way of recording myself saying my name in Chinese because I'm too lazy/cheap to get a microphone for my computer. I'm thinking of having my parents get me a Fostex MR-8 or some other recording device for my birthday, though, so I might be able to post it some time in April. :p
